Metering connection process changes

New meter installations, alterations and abolishment forms will soon be available online.

New meter installations, alterations and abolishment forms available online soon

We have made it easier to raise new meter requests. Our new Customer Portal means faster connections, less manual processing and clearer two-way communication throughout the connections process.

From 13 May, all new meter-related connection, alteration and abolishment requests raised in the AusNet distribution area will need to be completed in the customer portal.

This will replace the need for EWR and VESI PDFs to be submitted directly to retailers. Once an application is submitted, we will validate and send digitised EWR and VESI requests to retailers.

You must create an account before submitting an application with us.
