Rewards and benefits

Flexibility

We encourage you to have an open conversation about the work arrangement that allows you to work at your best. Our workplace flexibility arrangements allow you to adjust the where, when and how much you work to meet the needs of you, your family and AusNet.

Examples:

  • Where: Working from home, working from another location
  • When: Flexible start and finish times, compressed hours
  • How much: Reduced hours e.g. part-time

Parental leave

We’ve got your back when it comes to parental leave. We offer 14 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 2 weeks for the secondary caregiver. We have no waiting periods and also acknowledge all types of parenting arrangements, such as surrogacy, adoption and fostering. Full parental leave cover is provided in the case of stillbirth for both primary and secondary carers.

Leave

Supporting staff through life’s ups and downs is core to who we are. We have a range of leave options to support our people ranging from; 12 – 15 days of personal/carers leave, 5 days of compassionate leave, study leave, and the option to purchase up to 4 weeks of additional leave on an annual basis.

Community Giving
