    Planned outages

To ensure the network stays safe and reliable, we’ll need to switch the power off for regular maintenance. This helps to reduce the chance of unexpected outages.

You’ll get at least four business days notice of a planned outage.

    Unplanned outages

There are times when the power goes off unexpectedly. For many reasons, from severe weather, to falling trees, animals contacting powerlines and equipment failure.

As soon as we’re aware of an unplanned outage, our crews work on fixing it as soon as possible.
