Contact your local gas retailer. Once you are registered, AusNet Services will arrange through your retailer to complete work such as installing your gas meter.
You then arrange for a licensed plumber or gas fitter to install your natural gas appliances and connect your house to our meter.
In rare cases there may be a cost associated with your gas connection (including your gas meter). Your gas retailer will consult with you on AusNet Services’ behalf regarding any costs, before your property is connected.
You will also need to arrange and pay for a licensed plumber or gas fitter to connect your house to the gas meter. This can be done when you install your new gas appliances.
